First human test of 'Double-Drug' balloon to unclog heart arteries

Summary
This study is testing a new type of balloon catheter coated with two medications. It is designed to be inflated inside a narrowed heart artery to open the blockage and deliver drugs to help keep it open. The study will check if the device is safe and works properly in 28 patients with chest pain (angina) or a certain type of minor heart attack. This is the first time this specific device is being used in people.
