First human test of Dual-Drug balloon to keep heart arteries open

Summary

This study is testing a new type of balloon catheter coated with two medications. Doctors will use it to open blocked heart arteries in patients experiencing chest pain or minor heart attacks. The goal is to see if this device is safe and works to keep arteries open longer after the procedure. This is the first time this specific device is being tested in people.
