New hope for older leukemia patients: trial tests four drug cocktails

NCT ID NCT06532552

Summary

This study is testing four different drug combinations to find the best treatment for adults newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who cannot tolerate or choose not to have intensive chemotherapy. It will compare how well the treatments work and their side effects in 172 participants across multiple hospitals. The goal is to see if adding one or two extra drugs to a standard two-drug combination can better control the leukemia and prevent it from coming back.
