First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study aims to see if a new formula can accurately predict a person's maximum strength without requiring them to lift their heaviest weight. Researchers will test 120 healthy adults, both young (18-35) and older (60-85), to compare the new prediction method with the standard maximum lift test. The goal is to make strength assessment safer and easier for everyone, especially older adults.
