Scientists develop safer, smarter way to gauge your strength
NCT ID NCT06718699
Summary
This study aims to create a better math formula to estimate a person's maximum lifting strength. Researchers are enrolling 120 young and older adults, both trained and untrained, to test their strength with different exercises. The goal is to find a safer and easier alternative to the traditional, exhausting one-rep max test, which can be risky and time-consuming.
