Spinal injury breakthrough: implanted device restores seated stability

Summary
This study tests a surgically implanted device that uses small electrical currents to stimulate trunk and hip muscles in people with spinal cord injuries. The goal is to improve seated posture, balance, breathing, reaching, and wheelchair mobility. Ten participants with injuries between C4 and T12 will be enrolled to evaluate how the system helps with daily seated activities.
