Summary
This study tested a system that combines virtual reality (VR) with brainwave training (neurofeedback) to help people manage chronic back pain without using opioid drugs. Eleven adults with severe back pain took part in up to 20 sessions. Researchers measured how well participants tolerated the device and whether their pain changed over time.
