Zapping nerves to soothe worried minds: trial tests two devices

Summary
This study aims to see which of two non-invasive nerve stimulation devices works better for people with somatic symptom disorder, a condition causing significant physical symptoms and excessive worry about health. Sixty participants will try both a neck-worn device (gammaCore) and an ear-worn device (Nurosym) for two weeks each, with the order decided by chance. The goal is to see which device more effectively reduces physical discomfort and health-related anxiety.
