New study aims to prevent dangerous blood pressure drops during hip surgery

Summary

This study looks at two different nerve block techniques used alongside low-dose spinal anesthesia for hip fracture surgery in elderly patients. The goal is to see which method better prevents severe drops in blood pressure during surgery and improves pain control afterward. About 60 adults aged 18 to 90 will take part.
