First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This phase II trial tests whether switching from one chemotherapy combination (mFOLFIRINOX) to another (gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel) early in treatment can help shrink pancreatic tumors enough for successful surgery. The study includes 42 adults with pancreatic cancer that is either removable or has spread locally but not to distant organs. The goal is to see if this adaptive approach leads to cleaner tumor removal and better disease control.
