First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested two different oral forms (a tablet and a capsule) of an experimental medicine called NDec in 44 healthy adults. NDec is being developed for sickle cell disease, but this trial did not treat the disease—it only measured how the body absorbs the drug from each version. Participants received both forms in random order, and the study lasted up to 45 days.
