What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Nalbuphine
What this could lead to
If successful, this could help doctors choose the best time to give nalbuphine during knee replacement to reduce pain and keep the heart stable in older patients.
What could go wrong
This is a small, single-center Phase 4 trial. Results may not apply to all patients, and nalbuphine may not prove better than standard timing for pain or heart stability.
