Blood markers may reveal hidden liver damage in fatty liver disease
NCT ID NCT07513922
First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether common blood tests (hs-CRP, triglycerides, and glucose) can help detect liver fibrosis in people with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Researchers will enroll 96 adults and compare these blood markers with liver scans. The goal is to find a simpler, non-invasive way to identify those at risk for liver scarring.
