Simple blood index may spot liver scarring risk
NCT ID NCT07513922
First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a combination of common blood test results (hs-CRP, triglycerides, and glucose) can help detect liver fibrosis in people with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Researchers will observe 96 adults who have NAFLD and compare their blood markers to liver stiffness measurements. The goal is to find a non-invasive way to identify those at risk for liver scarring, without needing a biopsy.
