Summary
This study aims to identify which types of fats and proteins are linked to more severe nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Researchers will analyze liver tissue samples from 45 adults undergoing abdominal or bariatric surgery. No treatment is given; the goal is simply to learn more about the disease.
