First seen Dec 04, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study aims to find out how many people with type 2 diabetes also have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Researchers will use a special ultrasound scan (FibroScan) to check the livers of 385 adults with type 2 diabetes. The goal is simply to measure how common this liver condition is in this group, not to test a new treatment.
