Summary

This study tests whether two common antioxidants, N-acetyl cysteine and alpha-lipoic acid, can help adults with beta thalassemia when added to their usual care. The goal is to see if these supplements can reduce blood vessel damage and inflammation. The trial will involve 66 participants and uses imaging and blood tests to measure effects.
