First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests two types of special glasses lenses designed to slow the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children aged 6 to 14. About 120 children will wear the lenses daily for one year and have regular eye exams. The goal is to see if the lenses reduce how much the eyes worsen over time and to check for any side effects.
