New hope for healthier babies in diabetic pregnancies

Summary
This is a small pilot study to see if a supplement called myo-inositol, taken during pregnancy, can help prevent health problems for babies born to mothers with Type 2 diabetes. It will involve 182 pregnant women with diabetes who will take either the supplement or a placebo. The goal is to gather information to design a larger future trial that could improve outcomes for these mothers and babies.
