New supplement trial aims to protect babies from diabetes complications
NCT ID NCT07241221
Summary
This is a small pilot study to see if a supplement called myo-inositol can help improve health outcomes for babies born to mothers with Type 2 Diabetes. It will recruit 182 pregnant women in Singapore to test if taking the supplement alongside standard care leads to healthier birth weights and fewer newborn complications. The main goal is to gather data to design a larger, more definitive trial in the future.
