Scientists seek clues in mysterious recurrent infections

NCT ID NCT00018044

Summary

This study aims to learn more about nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) infections by observing people who have them. Researchers will collect detailed health information, perform tests, and study genetics to understand why some people get these recurrent infections and how the disease progresses. The goal is to identify patterns and potential immune system factors involved, not to test a new treatment.
