Summary

This study tests an online decision aid called "My Heart Care and CKD" for people with both chronic kidney disease and heart disease. The tool helps patients and doctors understand the risks and benefits of heart procedures like angiograms or surgery, which can be riskier for kidney patients. About 220 adults in Canada will use the tool to see if it improves decision-making and knowledge. The goal is to support shared decision-making, not to test a treatment.
