Summary
This study tested a computer tool called MuSt-PC that helps doctors and nurses make better care decisions for adults with serious illnesses like cancer or heart failure. The goal was to see if patients could complete the required surveys and if the tool was helpful. 44 patients with multiple symptoms and a life expectancy of at least 4 weeks took part. The study focused on whether the tool could improve quality of life and symptom management.
