First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at whether listening to music can help adults feel less pain and stress when doctors realign a broken wrist without surgery. About 192 people will be randomly assigned to hear their favorite music, a therapist-chosen song, or no music at all. Researchers will measure pain levels and vital signs before and after the procedure to see if music makes a difference.
