First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether listening to music can help manage pain and stress in adults who need a broken wrist bone realigned without surgery. About 192 participants will be randomly assigned to hear their favorite music, a therapist-chosen song, or no music at all. Pain levels and vital signs will be measured before and after the procedure to see if music makes a difference.
