Can a simple song calm mom and baby?

NCT ID NCT07414641

Summary

This study tested whether listening to music during a routine prenatal check-up could help reduce a pregnant person's anxiety and affect their baby's well-being. One hundred pregnant women were randomly assigned to either listen to music through headphones or have the standard test without music during their non-stress test monitoring. Researchers measured the mothers' anxiety and mood before and after the test, and also tracked the baby's heart rate and movements.
