Summary
This study looked at whether resistance (strength) training can help middle-aged and older adults with sarcopenia, a condition that causes loss of muscle mass and strength. Forty participants aged 50 and older with sarcopenia or pre-sarcopenia took part. The goal was to see if exercise alone could improve muscle mass, grip strength, and physical performance like walking speed and chair stands.
