Summary
This study looked at 70 elderly women, some with osteoporosis and some without, to see if leg muscle strength is linked to bone density. Researchers measured hip and knee muscle strength and compared it to bone mineral density. The goal was to better understand risk factors for muscle weakness and bone loss in older women.
