New combo therapy offers hope for stroke Survivors' shoulder pain

Summary

This study tested whether a combination of nerve stimulation and physical therapy can relieve shoulder pain in stroke survivors better than either treatment alone. About 96 adults with shoulder pain that started or worsened after a stroke took part. The goal was to find a more effective way to reduce pain and improve daily life.
