Summary
This study tested whether combining a temporary nerve-stimulation implant with physical therapy relieves shoulder pain in stroke survivors better than either treatment alone. 96 adults with shoulder pain that started or worsened after a stroke took part. The goal was to find a more effective way to reduce pain and improve daily life.
