NCT ID NCT05717296
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special website with videos and information could help lower anxiety in people waiting for vascular surgery. About 250 adults scheduled for procedures like fixing blocked leg arteries or abdominal aneurysms took part. Patients who used the website rated their anxiety on a 0-10 scale, and their scores were compared to those who did not get the website. The goal was to see if easy-to-access information can make the wait for surgery less stressful.
