Summary

This study is testing a new tuberculosis (TB) vaccine candidate called MTBVAC. It aims to see if the vaccine is safe and if it triggers a good immune response in adolescents and adults in South Africa, including those living with HIV. The study will compare MTBVAC to the existing BCG vaccine that most participants received as infants.
