New TB vaccine tested in High-Risk south african communities

Summary
This study is testing a new tuberculosis (TB) vaccine called MTBVAC to see if it is safe and if it triggers a good immune response. It involves 276 adolescents and adults in South Africa, including people living with and without HIV. Participants receive a single injection of either the new MTBVAC vaccine or the standard BCG vaccine and are followed for about a year to monitor their health and immune responses.
