Summary
This study tested a complete hygiene kit containing a nasal gel, antiseptic soap, and mouthwash to reduce or eliminate MRSA bacteria from patients' bodies. The goal was to see if this approach using povidone iodine could work better than current treatments, as some MRSA bacteria have become resistant to them. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only one patient.
