NCT ID NCT04391322
First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether MRI scans can detect lung changes in people with cystic fibrosis (CF) who take CFTR-modulator drugs. About 86 participants, including healthy volunteers and CF patients aged 4 and older, will have multiple MRI scans and breathing tests over up to 3 years. The goal is to see if MRI is a better tool than standard tests for tracking how well the medication works.
