New brain imaging study seeks to uncover secrets of depression and anxiety

Summary

This study aims to improve MRI scanning methods to see how mood and anxiety disorders affect the brain. Researchers will compare brain structure and activity in healthy volunteers and people with major depressive disorder while they perform tasks. The goal is to develop better tools for future research, not to provide direct treatment. About 390 participants aged 18 to 65 are needed.
