Eye cancer survivors: MRI may spot new tumors before symptoms appear
NCT ID NCT03026998
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether regular MRI scans can find new head, neck, or brain cancers early in people with hereditary retinoblastoma who were treated with radiation. About 88 participants who had radiation at least 5 years ago and are now 7 or older will get MRI screenings. The goal is to see if catching these cancers early leads to better surgery results and helps preserve vision.
