Scanning for hidden cancers: MRI tests for retinoblastoma survivors

NCT ID NCT03026998

Summary

This study is testing whether regular MRI scans can help detect second cancers early in people who had hereditary retinoblastoma as children and were treated with radiation therapy. The research involves 88 participants who are at least 7 years old and had radiation treatment at least 5 years ago. The goal is to find these second cancers before symptoms appear, which might improve treatment outcomes.
