Summary
This study tested whether a special type of MRI scan, which uses inhaled xenon gas, could detect signs of chronic lung rejection in transplant patients earlier than current standard tests. The goal was to see if this scan could identify problems before they cause permanent lung damage. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only 6 participants.
