Brain tumor patients get custom radiotherapy thanks to frequent MRI checks

NCT ID NCT04771806

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looks at whether doing extra MRI scans during radiation and chemotherapy can detect changes in high-grade glioma (a fast-growing brain tumor). By seeing these changes early, doctors may adjust the treatment plan to better target the tumor and protect healthy brain tissue. About 80 adults with this type of brain cancer will take part. The goal is to learn if this approach improves treatment accuracy, not to test a new drug or cure.
