New scan aims to spot hidden breast cancer clues
NCT ID NCT02819362
Summary
This study tested whether MRI scans could help find breast cancer in women who have unusual nipple discharge but whose standard mammograms and ultrasounds look normal. Researchers enrolled 70 women to see if MRI could accurately rule out cancer when it appeared normal. The goal was to improve early detection and avoid unnecessary procedures.
