MRI scans may predict immune response in breast cancer patients
NCT ID NCT03738553
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at whether early MRI scans can show how well the immune system is fighting HER2-positive breast cancer after one round of treatment. Researchers observed 13 patients before and after anti-HER2 therapy. The goal was to see if changes on MRI match the level of immune cells in the tumor. This was an observational study, not a treatment trial.
