New scan aims to catch breast Cancer's return before it spreads
NCT ID NCT06328465
Summary
This study is testing whether a special type of whole-body MRI scan can find returning breast cancer (metastases) earlier than current methods. It will enroll 145 women with high-risk breast cancer who have finished initial treatment but have no signs of spread. The main goal is to see if finding cancer recurrence earlier with this scan helps patients live longer by allowing doctors to start more effective treatment sooner.
