First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tested whether MRI scans can help diagnose rheumatoid arthritis (RA) earlier in people with joint inflammation but no clear diagnosis. 75 adults with early symptoms were followed for a year. The goal was to see if MRI findings could predict who would develop RA, allowing treatment to start sooner and improve outcomes.
