New brain scan technique could predict Cancer's next move

NCT ID NCT00870129

Summary

This study is testing whether advanced MRI scans can better identify areas within brain tumors that are most likely to grow back after treatment. Researchers will scan 135 adults with glioma brain tumors to see if these detailed images can help predict recurrence patterns. The goal is to gather information that might help doctors plan more targeted radiation therapy in the future.
