New strategy uses 'Cancer Leftover' test to guide Next-Gen myeloma treatment
NCT ID NCT06353022
First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a personalized approach for people newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma. After initial treatment, doctors use a sensitive test to see if any cancer cells remain. Based on the results, patients receive one of two combinations of T-cell redirecting drugs (teclistamab with lenalidomide, or teclistamab with talquetamab) to try to wipe out any leftover disease. The goal is to see if this tailored strategy can achieve deep, lasting remission.
