MRI-Guided radiation aims to safely zap liver tumors

NCT ID NCT05027711

First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether using an MRI to guide radiation therapy can better treat liver tumors that have spread from other cancers. About 90 adults with 1 to 3 small liver tumors will get either standard radiation or MRI-guided radiation. The goal is to see if the new method causes fewer serious side effects while still controlling the tumors.
