Freezing out prostate Cancer's return: a new hope for tough cases
NCT ID NCT01727284
Summary
This study is testing a procedure called MR-guided cryoablation for men whose prostate cancer has returned after initial treatment. It uses an MRI to guide a probe that freezes and destroys the recurring tumor. The goal is to see if this freezing method is a safe and effective option for patients who cannot have or have failed other treatments like surgery or radiation.
