NCT ID NCT07031388

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested four different mouthwashes—hydrogen peroxide with hyaluronic acid, hyaluronic acid alone, chlorhexidine, and a placebo—in 80 healthy adults aged 18 to 35 with mild gum inflammation (gingivitis). Participants used their assigned mouthwash twice daily for three weeks. The goal was to see which one best reduced gum inflammation, plaque, and bleeding. The study is already completed, and results will show which mouthwash works best for everyday gum care.
