Summary

This study tested whether a mouthrinse with benzydamine hydrochloride could reduce plaque buildup when people stopped brushing for three days. Fifty healthy women with no gum disease used either the active mouthrinse or a placebo. The results showed no significant difference in plaque or gum inflammation between the two groups.
